Reflection answers

  • With auto date/time off, sales' own date column no longer sprouts a hidden hierarchy — and more importantly, the time-intelligence measures compute against Dates, so the visual's date fields must filter that same table for the contexts to line up. One spine, used everywhere: fields from Dates, measures against Dates, every fact hanging off it.
  • The 2024 figure comes from the same place every course number comes from: the model manifest, where 2024's $18,444,998.18 over 2023's $16,190,303.75 is computed from the shipped data. The lesson quoted some numbers; the dataset contains all of them; the course's checkers recompute rather than assert. Your YoY measure, correctly built, agrees with a figure the lesson never printed — which is precisely what "correctly built" means.
